HP ePrint setup
Check few things
before setting up the HP ePrint
- Ensure whether your printer supports HP ePrint
- Ensure whether your system connected to the wired or wireless network
- Ensure whether your Printer connect to your network connection
Turn on the Web
services
- Make sure your printer and web service are communicated securely.
Printer with touch
screen or LCD display
- Turn on the web service from the printer control panel.
- If the device asks for printer firmware update, then update it
- Press the HP ePrint Icon from your printer control panel
- If the HP ePrint icon is not available in the printer control panel, Go to web service setupàWeb service menu then enable the web service.
- For already turned on web service, connected status appears on the display.
- To get the information sheet touch the Print Info
Printer without touch
screen or LCD display
- By using the Embedded web server , you can enable the web service.
- Ensure your printer firmware is updated
- Print a network configuration to get the printer ip address which is used to view the EWS webpage.
- Find your Printer IP address on network configuration.
- On your system open the browser and type the IP address and press Enter
- In the browser website security certificate displays then press continue
- On EWS webpage, Press Web service tab
- Turn on the Web Service and then Enable it.
- If the screen displays the connected status that means web service is already turned on
- Press Print Info to get the information sheet, and then continue to the next step.
Get Your Printer’s
Email Address
- After turn on your web service printer will print the Important Printer Setup Instructions page that contains your printers email address and printer claim code.
- Then locate the printer’s email address and continue the next step.
Printing with HP ePrrint
- Enter your Printer’s Email address in To Field
- For additional recipients, enter the email address in the Cc: field.
- Enter Subject in subject line.
- If you leave the field blank the printer can cancel the printing job. Your subject will not be print.
HP ePrint Supports
- Documents file type:
Text
file, Microsoft word file, Microsoft power point and Microsoft Excel
- Photo files types:
.bmp,
.gif, .jpg, .png, and .tiff.
- Photo should have a horizontal and vertical resolution of 100 pixels or higher.
- The email size should less than 10 MB including attachments
- Digitally signed, encrypted, or password protected documents
- OpenOffice files
- Duplex printing (printing on both sides of the page)
You cannot print email attachments without printing the
email also.
